Chea seeds are a great addition to your diet. Those babies are packed with healthy fats (including Omega-3), fiber, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, antioxidants, and protein. Also they help your digestive system to get rid of unneeded garbage and clean your system.
Did someone say superfood?? They can be used for several purposes: add them to your salad, to your morning yogurt (non-dairy yogurt of course ), puddings, baking and much more. The coolest property in my opinion is that whenever you mix those cute seeds with a liquid, it turns to a jelly.
One of the easiest recipes for that jelly awesomeness (not that anything is hard with chea seeds) is to ground some berries or fruits in a blender, mix 2-3 parts of that with 1 part of chea seeds, put in the fridge overnight and voila! A great breakfast or healthy treat, packed with nutrients and fiber. And have you seen this beautiful thing?!
